Rally Chat Falkirk..Its a £..bring them. 30 June -3 July 2017

OMG - what's it going to cost me if I say no!!!
oh sooooo much money! The bank of Scotland probably couldn't produce enough £1 coins to cover it!

Anyway anyone who sits and watches the ceilidh is missing out on so much fun.

@Allan & Loren - if you look at my avatar - which is a true reflection - you will understand why I ask!! To be honest my feet can't move that fast and I think I wil, need oxygen!!

Oh we all need oxygen afterwards. If you dance like your avatar you'll fit in with the rest of us!

OMG - what's it going to cost me if I say no!!!
Spectators caught watching have to pay too. Let's face it if you go to a comedy show you have to pay for your laughs and that's exactly what the dancing is to them. For the participants it's fab fun. Just bring your flatties Carol :D2

Err...what's all this talk about dancing?
Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound!

I was once described as a disgrace to dad dancing :notworthy:
Never mind Clive, I'm sure you will do great and redeem yourself. It's all about the fun, not about how many folks toes you stand on. That award goes to @Ashley F but I believe she might not be fit in time to dance so your tootsies will be safe.(y)

This could get interesting as cutting & pasting on an ipad mini isn't the easiest of things to do - please shout up if you see anything odd(y)

I hope everyone gives it a go(y)

Mr G & myself (during my brunette period:ROFLMAO:) can't remember if that before or after I trod on his toes for the umpeenth time:LOL::LOL:

I think you've answered your own question there David:LOL:

But it also means you need more practice, I'm sure there will be enough of us to keep you on your feet ;):ROFLMAO:

I missed the vodka jellies - hope @George Graham will be up to offering a repeat :) (sorry, bit cheeky of me:rolleyes:)

That's the great thing about ceilidh dancing - you don't have to make up all those awful 'dad dancing' moves. Just get yourself from one part of the car park to another under instruction & vaguely in time with the music.

Oh, yes - as penance, you do occasionally have to grab hold of a person who may or may not be of the opposite gender. Mostly at a hand-holding level (before you get too excited).

That would be great David. I could hand you the amp at Misterton - we will be there - use it at Falkirk & maybe hand it back to you afterwards. We could always swing by your way on our way home around the third week of July if you will be about then. Suppose it depends if there is further requests for any dancing at Wick - can't remember if you are going there or not.

It has to live under the table while the wheelchair is loaded, so the knees suffer a bit! I also get complaints from the opposite seat.

Thanks @ The Caller but if David can take it back with him then take the opportunity.(y) Davids not going to Wick and I'm sure we will have a music source belting out from @PeterandNicole place if we want.

Dancing for Martin and I! I will sit out as and when I need to.

Also do you want the genny for the amp @TheCaller ???

Anyone got a drone they can bring to any of the Scottish meets? They look fun.

I don't mind dog sitting if you want to go on the boat,I'll be looking after ours!
Thank you, but I think I will skip it anyway. Reg is a bit of a handful.

a little update about stuff that is planned for the meet....

Friday night BBQ - Bring your own food and a little extra to share please. I've highlighted 'little' as we had mountains of food last year:LOL:. if you'd like to contribute things eg serviettes, charcoal , salad or other contributions that would be great. The food will be cooked for you:). At the minute we have a couple of cadacs and a charcoal bbq.

Sunday morning - we'll be doing bacon butties.

Monday morning - is the breakfast at the visitor centre

please shout up if you would like to go on the boat ride or would like to be added to the visitor centre brekkie list

Ceilidh dancing - a good laugh but bring your flat shoes @DavidG58 you can leave those left feet of yours at home this time:LOL:

as always there's no obligation to join in but I hope everyone will:)
x

@irnbru please feel free to give me a rollicking if I've missed anything:LOL:

Ok rollicking @Debs lol seriously great post(y)
@DavidG58 needs to bring those left feet, I think he might be secretly hurt. David did do ever so well last year and I'm sure deep down he really had fun. Look at the pics from last year.

I'm aiming to get everyone that is fit enough to get on that car park dance floor this year to do so. Hint hint. @Terry

Vodka jellies might help and because I'm on a fundraising mission they will be 2 for a £1 Nothing for free this year except the opportunity to get rid of £1s:rofl:
