External Gas Grill/BBQ

I can understand with electric but gas i dont know - i am using baco foil on mine to keep clean and it has not caused any problems yet - if it does catch alight what damage can it do with a bbq which has a gas burner ( gas supply pipe is only possible problem i suppose ) - my baco foil which lines the sides pushes heat upwards as well but i open and close lid as req'd dependant on temp - everyone to their own but i have had no problems with using my bbq - people cook joints in ovens using bacofoil - so i dont know

I have an outside point. Can't remember the name but it is not the Bullfinch one. Edit - it looks like the one in Robert's photo.

I use a Weber Q1200 BBQ. We have used the bigger Q200 (now Q2200) at home for the last 5 years and find it is a very good BBQ. The closest to a real charcoal BBQ using gas.

We have the same set up and ditto I agree with you Weber all the way for me .

I've just started using bbq sheets, purchased from Amazon (search bbq sheets). Place on grill you stil get grill marks on food and just wipe clean. FDA approved, reusable.

BBQ sheets with bacofoil lined inside and for the tray. No mess :)
