Standard reply from Gov FR Gov GB is ... no idea at all ... how can we respond to a status that has yet to be decided ... or ... your guess is as good as mine .. FUBAR !!!!

We’ve just got the 1968 ones to cover France this morning in case our ferry back from Spain in December gets cancelled and we have to come up through France. We expected the end date to be June 2022 and July 2022 when ours are due for renewal as a friend we met up with on Wednesday had said that his was only lasting until the renewal date on his driving licence and was less than 3 years. Well ours have been dated to expire on 3rd October 2022 ( she had in fact missed the year off Nick’s completely!) . It looks like the Post Offices are still confused by it all.
