but
According to Wikepedia :

37.4% voted to leave the EU
34.7% voted to stay in the EU

The other approx 27.9% didn't vote and under our system cannot be assumed to have voted either way.
But the 27.9% didn't vote for change which was the point of it all. The rules of the game were not really publicised very well.

This was widely predicted to happen way before the Brexit vote, but was shouted down as 'Project Fear'

The Brexit negotiations must be the only ones in history where one side is actually trying to make a worse deal than the one they have now.

It's a bit like having a world cup team in overtime of the final, and half of the team are actually trying to score own goals.

Still, it's what half the the crowd voted for. Reap what you sow. It's about to get a lot worse.
Getting political..BUSBY.

I don't fully understand the 'why' and 'wherefore' details (unsurprising I guess as it's still all up for negotiation) but I assume that it will also mean that EU nationals coming to the U.K. after Dec 31st won't be eligible for benefits which I believe includes claiming for children who are still resident back home.
There's talk of substantial rises in the income tax rate too which will add pressure on incomes since pensioners' savings produce virtually no return as it is.
Waddever, I'll manage.

I take it you live where you were born?
I see we haven't answered this one yet?
They would love it, spending their benefits here. Especially them cafes that serve all day breakfasts, and any restaurant that has a picture menu, when the majority of ex-pats return those places will boom:giggle:
You are deluded. Most would have to return potless & require housing benefits etc just to bring the basic state pension up to the " minimum income guarantee"
if you go to Canada, NZ and Australia, popular countries for Brits, it is frozen.
& when you return on an extended holiday it reverts to the current amount.Syaye you are now resident it then becomes permanent. You can emigrate again then
Nothing yet decided on any issues,,Its all sparring,,Why get argumentative until the deal is done.BUSBY..
Because this is how the WASPI women got shafted. The decision was in 1995 & plenty of time according to many.Unfortuantely not as no decision on implementation was made for years & the can was kicked down the road until 2011 :The decision made then was that women would be equalised with men by 2020 starting in 2014. So some wome had less than 3 years.

This is the same 2016 ,4 years ago,no plan of how to exit , no plan of anything, still no idea now & it 'll be nearly 5 years come the year end.

Getting political.
There is nothing in life whatsoever that isn't political.
