Euro tunnel crossings.

I've never used the tunnel, only ferries, so interested to know why you don't leave home later or book an earlier train?
An earlier train they'll usually charge you for.prices are eye watering anyway.

Has anyone heard anything about Frequent travellers lately?
I had an email extending mine until June 2022. Also, they're 'looking into' starting a new, off peak, multi ticket option - they say later this year but who knows 🤔

I turned up two weeks late for one departure! 🤦‍♂️

it’s a long story which I won’t bore you with, but on appeal, Eurotunnel accepted that it was a genuine mistake and provided a full credit to use against another crossing in the future. Pretty decent customer service really! 👍🏻

We should have gone last year and pulled out (which I now regret). However Eurotunnel provided a voucher which we have now redeemed. For an extra £20 each way we have booked refundable standard tickets. It’s still cheaper than the voucher cost do feels like a ‘free’ crossing. We may well have to cancel as Covid is running through schools and I teach … but I have everything crossed and am allowing myself to feel a little excited!!
