Espresso Coffee Machine

Agreed and save a fortune on 'Pods' and get a decent Coffee at the same time
I use a Lavazza pod machine at home and a another smaller one in the motorhome. Just for convenience. And I use Lavazza coffee pods. Probably not quite as good as the connoisseurs's £500 espresso machines but good enough to wake me up in the morning.

You tratior Peter, you always used to swear by a Moka pot.

We use Stainless Moka pots in the house and van, never had a decent cup of coffee out of a pod machine.

You are not using the right coffee, pod machine and pods. Lavazza coffee is used by nearly all cafes in Italy.

I ended up with a stainless steel Moka pot in the motorhome as well. But it was always a chore to wash and clean it and get rid of the grinds in the confines of the motorhome kitchen, especially when we were on the move.

What changed that was the installation of lithium batteries, more solar, a 2000W inverter and a microwave. So we got the smallest pod machine Lavazza sold. Very simple to use. And we heated the milk in the microwave and whisked it up. After that just take the used pod out and throw it in bin, empty the water container and put it back in the cupboard. One cup and the small milk jug to wash and dry up.

Ditto! And I have just acquired a lightly used EcoFlow Delta 2 so that I can still enjoy coffee off-grid without a major upgrade of the electrics on the van. Zero pure sine wave or other problems in using that combo.
P.S. The Delta 2 will have other uses otherwise those cups of coffee would work out mighty expensive!
P.P.S. Having seen the post above I can add that I warm my milk in a stainless steel mug on the hob and that mug is then filled with Lavazza coffee direct from the pod machine.
