The van we now have is named Ermintrude
So we will record our trips with her as the heading says
We can’t weight to get on the road again
And ermintrude will take us there
At times she will make post on behalf of her humans

Well done. No problems with it linking up to the ecu ? or coding the injectors?
I just plugged it in I got a engine with same engine code
So I didn’t have to
This engine at sun point has had a complete rebuild professionally done
I can see new seals on crank case and other evidence like brand new injectors.
And it was very clean inside the timing chane had recently been changed ther was no whare whatsoever on the chane all the parts chain, tensioner, gears, and guides. Had no evidence of whare whatsoever.
The oil that was left in the sump had hardly done any miles

The van it had come off had had a rear end shunt
A lot of money had been spent on a complete engine rebuild all the parts that were on it are genuine ford parts
Including the timing chane kit none of that after market rubbish
I did pay a premium price for it but basically a nearly new engine
Not a part on that engine that had not been replaces from what I can see very smooth engine.
Starts first piston up think it was a 0 hrs engine
And the clutch was almost brand new full thickness it was about 9.5 mm loads left on it and the old clutch of the old engine had only been changed 800 miles ago so I have a spare

So today it’s fit ermantruds heating system as we use our vans all year round.
I will fit the diesel heater
And sort out the gas low system reddy to fit the cooker
Drop vents have to go in and a gas box with drop vents
Piping and bubble tester.

Try putting m6 or m 8 cabil direct from battery fused somewhere in the system as short a cable run as possible
What error codes are you getting

It just needs a service try running it on kerosene full on with injector cleaner
Every now and then before shutting it down run it at full heat try taking out the glow plug and spray EGR cleaner in to it the mesh might be clogged
