We're new to all this malarkey and so are going to start our day with a dumb question. When running on gas, does the fridge draw charge from our leisure battery? Thank you

Yes. 12v required for control panel / spark ignition and any display panel. Tiny amount though.

Depends on the model (age) generally if it has a switch to light it then no power used once lit if it has a push button tonight it (loud click) then no electric needed.If it has a display the yes as above
