Electric help needed.

Just looks like a connector block from that side. If there are no components on either side, you remove the damaged plug and socket and hard wire it. The issue was caused by arching between the plug and socket.

Are these connectors 240V or 12V? It looks like 240V, but the damage is very like what I have seen on 12V connectors that have a bad connection on a high amps wire.

220 - 240v Iam told they would not be allowed in a house but perfectly legal in a motorhome. Also a Motorhome that if I replaced today would cost me over 240k

That component is definitely fubar.
Hopefully u have marked up which plug was connected to which socket.
Looks like a very proprietary board but it depends what's on the backside of it that we cant see in the photo. Might be just a simple interconnect/distribution.
Get it out in the daylight and take more photos.

Well done on finding the fault. I would suggest, to fit rcbo’s on all AC circuits, in the future will save you allot of grief in fault finding, and, if a fault occurs it’s safe to use the rest of installation by isolating the faulty one only. I have rcd on power in via multiplus, then rcbo’s to sockets and boiler. Im going to fit two ark fault devices as well when weather improves a bit. One on DC side and one on AC. With mobile installation things change, vibration can create loose connections. A loose connection can be picked up by ark fault before the rcd trips. RCD trips when is already to late and things already burned out.

One of these I think Paul, although you may not want the same back in again, https://moore4motors.com/product/cb...ht-grey-camper-motorhome-caravan-narrow-boat/

One of our CBE plugs melted the same but that was somebody had rewired it badly,

I should add that when I said ours had been "rewired badly" what I meant was that the plug and socket both had male pins in them so minimal contact was made and it overheated, now I know of 2 other similar issues on N+B so it might be worth checking how yours was Paul haganap

New and unused, yours if you want it, though it has more connections so may not fit in your box. The PCB is 87 x 38mm.

Thank you very much, I've just pressed pay on the link that Martin sent me... but thank you very much for the kind offer.

Thanks for posting this. The fault finding process is really useful for those with limited knowledge.

You will still need the plug Paul as yours is fubar.
