We have a 2018 Campscout Revolution with the electric rear bed.
When we bought it one of the options was to have a second bed switch in the kitchen and not just the one in the rear which you open the doors to get at. I didn't take the option as I didn't think we would ever use it and now wish we had. has anyone got an idea of how to wire one in?

The switch and wire was £97 and took 4 months to turn up!
The hard part was getting the part number and somebody to supply it.
It connects into the existing wiring in the end of the top locker, where the fuse for the bed is.
Trying to run the cable form there to anywhere useful is a challenge, I ended up putting it above the fridge.
If you want to do it let me know and I’ll give you the information how to order the switch.

It’s the same switch as the other one. Apparently it has to be or it won’t work!
I’ll send you the details tomorrow of what to order.
It came from Southdown Motorhomes but was a wholesaler that I sorted it out with and they just passed it all on to Southdown so I could pay.

The part numbers shown on Southdown Motorhomes Centre are:

PRO425363 Controller for lifting Bed £58.61
PRO426127 Wiring Harness £10.80

Total including VAT £97.69

If that doesn't give then enough information let me know and I will find the details of the wholesaler that sorted it all out, She was very helpful on the phone.

This is the controller I have

The wiring loom colours match the original and just join the original controllers wires by the bed fuse.

The wires simply went into the same Wago connectors as the original. All of my connectors were behind a panel in the top locker above the bed next to the fridge. The panel is held in place with 3 screws and gives access to the bed fuse.
The wire harness colours were the same as the original when I checked so really simple to do.
