Anyone who wants a Nice Little Earner, PM Mr Jaws and get his terms. Now he's a crafty old fox so don't accept his first offer to defect to Newark, I hear that's only £50 and an insult, I reckon right now you could push him to £200 plus the weekend ticket.

It's just possible, what with him being a proper businessman, he'll make a hostile takeover of Eden Camp Meet and sell the 39 assets at a huge profit to Newark.

Could explain why Sheila and Mick were peering into this

Hi Techno

We have to bump a thread to keep it on front page, it could be that somebody may drop out of Eden Camp before March 23rd and go with that man Jaws :Rofl1: to Newark Show, so we like to give funsters the option of going onto the reserve list.

I dont know what Johns latest bribe is for people to abscond from Eden Camp, if its worth my while I might just go myself :yeah::whistle::Rofl1:

A word of warning, re: roadworks

Anyone approaching this meet from the east on the A64, (except me, i know already:Doh:) there are major, long term, roadworks on the Malton by-pass at the slip road for Norton......just past the beginning of the by-pass.
this will affect anyone approaching from the A165 (Brid to Scarboro ) and Staxton hill from Driffield.

approaching from the west (York) is unaffected.

at the moment there is a lane closure on the left hand (slow) lane in both directions and a 50mph limit.
works are being carried out overnight but the closures are 24hrs.

only affected if you go on the A64 from east coast.

from York (A64), Malton (B1257) or Pickering (A169)..no problem.

delays probable at peak times.

check out the dual carraigeway junction (B1248) half way between Scagglethorpe and the A169 on google earth.

taken 30 years for them to realise its a dangerous junction

AS your aware Lorraines mum has just passed away at this time Lorraine doesnt feel as if she will be ready to meet and mix with folk so if its ok with you and to save us taking someones space can we pull out if there is cost due to the late notice please let us know and i will send it to you.
