Does anyone know if we need our receipts for the payment to get into the show as we paid our money before Christmas and have not received confirmation have sent them a couple of emails but still waiting

You should have received a receipt from them however they should have your name on their list when you get there.

Give them a ring - they're very helpful

Don't forget that funsters can stay a Monday night as a extra at but will have to leave by 11am on Tuesday there will be not toilets or facilities on Tuesday., and anyone wanting to arrive a day early can park on the Roudee Car Park for £1.50p from 6pm until 8pm then normal car park charges apply. I would say anyone with large American RV let us know as the width getting in can be quite snug getting into the Race Course.

Would like to come this, are dogs allowed? We have 2, oH ad 2 kids (children).

Hi Malcolm, you need to phone 01244 405 615, you pay the Chester Food Festival and state that you are camping with Motorhome Fun, Dogs are welcome, usual rules to be on a lead and clean up, there are some really good dog walks along the river very close by. Children very welcome.

Hi Bee, don't worry we will have to cross check all the funsters with the Food Festival, and we will know you are on the list.

At the first bend it's neck and neck, Carol's Chester Charger and Haggar's Bargain Hunter vying for position. At the moment Carol's Charger has a short lead and Haggar's Bargain Hunter looks like it's flat out. The bookies have shortened the odds on Carol to 10 to 1 On, but if you're feeling lucky you can still get 5 to 1 on Haggars. Will Carol's Chester Charger keep up this amazing pace ?

If Haggers could find the three legged horse with one bad foot he was promoting at Uttoxeter races "Hectors House" (by the way it is still to finish) you might get an even better price from the bookies. Best bet is an each way and go to both.

Not bad, about 100 bodies.

Mind you the location and event deserves a few more especially with Carol organising some extra treats for us.

A trip on the river is good especially the commentary.

If anyone uses Groupon, put Chester in as the city, there are some good deals for food on which are valid when the Food Festival is on.
