Ducato X290 Windscreen Scuttle wate

To cure this water ingress problem when I purchased my 2007 X250, I drilled an equal sized hole in the N/S of the scuttle and fitted a small sink plughole fitting and drain pipe from an old caravan and to stop leaves etc from blocking pipe I stuff into the plughole, scrunched up fine mesh (similar to an old large tea strainer) into the top and extract and clear these if, and when, required.

I also sealed the centre gap of the scuttle with sealant and 'gaffer' tape. Had no problem since except for the small holes in the scuttle which I'm hoping will be solved with my purchase of the 'scuttle kit' which should be arriving tomorrow from PaulandChrissy

Water can still leak between the windscreen and the plastic scuttle. Get some P profile rubber and use silicone to fix it between the two.
