My Burstner Elegance has had check engine yellow light come on . It's the DPF problem that was last "fixed" 6 months and 5000 kms ago. I called the breakdown number for the service included with my insurance , gave them all the details including the size and weight of the vehicle.
48 hours later I am still waiting for them to find a garage to recover / repair.
Has anyone else had bad experiences with Breakdown Cover in Spain or am I just unlucky. ? I would imagine the disaster in Valencia has possibly utilised all the available recovery vehicles but I have had zero communications from the Breakdown service , I have made 4 calls over the last few days to find out what progress has been made ( none ).
Fortunately I am in a safe motorhome friendly area and am happy to be off grid for 4 or 5 days . Not sure I would be getting better service if I was on the side of a busy dual carriageway though , very worrying !!!
