The Comformatic was discontinued in 2019, so a 2022 van the chassis must have been sitting around a long time. If you haven't worn out the tyres I would check the dates on them probably need changing.

Yes, apparently the new 8 speed is an Aisin (Toyota) gearbox.

Used in a lot of the newer Peugeot Citroen cars, not as smooth as zf’s though and don’t change up as soon but generally ok as an auto
