I've got 2 solar panels with a total of 210 Watts of solar power which currently charges my AGM Leisure Battery. I want to add in my Engine battery which currently connects to the Leisure battery through a B2B.
Should I buy one of the currently available double battery regulators which seem to have a maximum of 240 watt (getting a bit close), or so I split the solar panels and have 2 separate systems and regulators. Or can I just wire a 2nd regulator into the solar output and take that regulator output to the engine battery.

Sort of depends on what you've got....

I have the CTEK system (DS250 and Smartpass) which uses any excess solar once the leisure batteries are full to top up the vehicle battery.

Cross post with Jimbohorlicks but something like the CTEK or Battery Master would be my first port of call.

When parked up unused then you're not depleting the house batteries much if at all so you've effectively got a trickle charger for the vehicle battery.

When off out and about in the van, the alternator is putting charge into both sets of battery banks. Solar tops this off.

I've never needed EHU with this system (and with the way I use the van. I'm seldom in the same spot more than 2 nights)

Vanbitz Battery Master.
Size of a cigarette packet, 3 wires, job done.
Trickle charges the starter battery from the leisure battery at 1 amp when it senses that the leisure battery is 0.75v above the starter battery voltage.
Had mine running for 3 years now.
Available from classifieds on here for about £60 or direct from Vanbitz.
