Has anyone got a top suggestion for a clothes airer for pants , socks etc , for drying inside the van (or possibly outside ) but not a full blown washing line ?

Don’t forget front to back as well, you can get 4 days that way.Or if you do, turn them inside out the next day and wear them again![]()
I like the idea if those octopus type hangers, they do look ideal for socks, etc. When it comes to towels, we purchased some beach size micro fibre towels. They don't feel great when drying yourself (they feel like they want to stick to your skin) but they dry fantastically fast, much quicker than normal towels (and they weigh a fraction of a similar size ordinary towel. We hang them up from a small drying rail that Burstner have fitted to the top of the shower unit.
Or sticking as there is many good adhesives about, but there are also hang fittings.Does that mean screwing into the internal walls ?
I'll finish it for you:There was a comment about C&A knickers but I’ll leave that as it’ll probably get me into trouble…
Not so sure about that. The exhaust fumes contain a lot of (hot) moisture. If you run your fridge or boiler on gas, rig up a hanger (something like this) to take advantage of the hot air that comes out of the vents.
