I am a newbie
Can anyone please help we can't get our drop down bed on Bailey approach advance 655 to come down, press button struggling to send power. Please help taking our grand children away really need it 😢.
Many thanks

Jusrmt seemed obvious to me they would supply one they do in German vans with electric beds.

Is there anywhere you can attach something to wind the bed up & down. It may be a hex shaped hole where a Alan key type handle fits.

Thanks Lenny I will have a good look in the morning to see if there is somewhere i can attach something to wind up or down, and get back to you. It seems like it has jammed at the very top. Thanks again.

Hi
Don’t want to sound patronising, but is control panel on . As I have to have panel on my burstner.
Also check the fuse sometimes near the bed motor in a cupboard maybe?
Good luck

Going back to 2012 we had a McLouis with a drop down bed. It had no emergency handle. When it refused to come down we took it back to the dealer and they showed me that the electrics had to be re-set by pressing and holding the on/off switch. There was nothing about that in the manual!

Have you had the bed down before ?
As said check fuse, or if there’s bedding on it see if you can strip all bedding off as sometimes bedding sheets can obstruct the belt if caught up
Good luck 👍

In your photo nothing looks obvious to me that you can manually move with Allen key like mine ,
Also the belt on the left looks frayed slightly as if it been caught in mechanical working, could just be the picture though .
Sorry I can’t be of any more help .
There just quite a few different types in these m/h

I don't have a drop down for this reason but I think there might b a removable panel somewhere on upper cupboards that can b removed to access the mechanism to manually wind up/down seen somewhere on YouTube, hope this is of help, Chris.

Flipping heck that wiring is atrocious surely it didn't come from the manufacture like that..

I would check all the connection and carefully examine every wire to make sure one hasn't broken or been snagged and partly cut through.

I don’t know if it helps, but on my Carthago, the place where you would insert the emergency key is next to the panel (the panel is attached to the bed frame) and it is covered by a vinyl sticker in the same color as the bed frame. If the dealer wouldn’t have told me, I would have never noticed it…

Has it ever worked? If its clicking it suggests it might have power to it, but something is preventing it from turning the motor, that might be due to a sticking sensor.can you locate them and find out if any are 'stuck' ?

If you can hear clicking it will be coming from the relays (lower left of your photo). That means that power is being supplied and that the control switch/button is also OK suggesting a mechanical problem.
