Driving to Spain

That's not what she wants to do.
She wants to be where the sun's hot.
We don't do walking and sightseeing.
We like to get there and then lounge about.
We're both still working and time off is limited.
That doesn't mean we can't go further afield, it just means we have to do it quicker.

The sun is usually hot in France south of the Loire in June,,,BUSBY,,

Because we've bought motorhome and the driving doesn't bother me.
I'll be doing about 8 hours driving today, not including my commute home.
And in something a lot bigger than a motorhome.
ooh! BUSBY

We don't particularly want to go to France, and Swmbo likes the Costa.

Only reason we'll be driving through France at all, is because there are no other viable roads.
Portsmouth Bilbao will miss France out for you but we only use that in winter when weather is cold wet and windy in France,,,BUSBY,,

I suggested that, but £600 plus is a lot of money.
And Dover is marginally easier to get to (not including Dartford in that statement, obviously).

Ahh! Cash rich, time poor.
Us old retired farts are the opposite, loads of time and no cash (thats why some turn into FLT's):LOL:
I can remember the days, long, long ago, when we used to dash down to Spain for two weeks camping in the sun in August.
Just don't over do the driving and get home more knackered than when you started. :D

Richard.

Cash rich?

I wish.

Yes but its £600 less the cost of Channel Ferry less cost of fuel less the cost of sites or aire,,and no driving through rain and wind etc in France,,:xsmile::xsmile:
