Driving in strong winds

Just back from walking daughter's dog along the beach, couldn't go at my own speed I was blown along somewhat faster than intended.

We LDV high top owners don't talk about high winds. I was down to 25 mph a while ago in high winds. I'm thinking of adding a tool box to lower the centre of gravity. :)

Earlier today a bin wagon blew over on the Isle of Man...
Going by the pic looks more like went onto soft ground at edge of road .

Surprised that bin wagon was "blown" over, driving through trees like that, I would have thought it would have been sheltered from any gusts ?

...maybe ... I've grown up
Hi.
NO. Old lorry drivers NEVER grow up. Retired, did a trip over Tintwistle (Yorkshire) with a double decker trailer carrying Foam as a favour....... Windy...?Ended up on its side blocking the road, two rescue crews came, one from Manchester one from..BARNSLEY...Ooo Errr ( They eat their young in Barnsley !!)... Elected to go to Barnsley Hospital, because i could nearly walk home from there....Grow up ? NO CHANCE. "Cummin' Throooo ". ? ? ? ? ? ?
Your " Buttocks" will tell you when to "Pull into the wind". When it cannot grip the seat anymore...THATS when you pull up.:hi5:

That’s not very strong winds is it??

I had to check I wasn't wrong and converted 33mph into kms/h with internet ... When I went to the DREAL from Toulouse to Brives to get my certificate of conformity , I was quite a novice and I had 110kms/h during 176kms non stop . But after all as you would say Chris...I'm just a crazy frog :rofl::rofl:
