Hi, it looks like I'm putting a deposit on a Rapido 8086df next week. I've never driven an A class. I've just sold my Benimar tessoro 442, which is around 20cm shorter, and a few cms narrower. Is there much of a difference in driving either. I've sat behind the wheel of a A class, and the cab seems huge. Any tips for driving an A class. Also it has a 9 speed auto, which will be the first auto I've owned, does it make much of a difference. Thanks

You say first Auto. The first time I drove an automatic, I pulled away from the kerb then put my foot on the break to change gear, had a close look at the windscreen. I would advise when you first drive tuck your left leg behind your right leg, less likely to hit the break pedal.

Safer behind your left ear.

Ah yes, the dreaded left foot.
A good few years ago my wife was driving our merc E class.

Coming into a service station the girls in the back had already taken off their seatbelts when my wife depressed the "clutch" and changed gear into reverse!

Cue sore heads.

Automatic in a MH give you one less thing to think about when manoeuvring.
