drivers seat r/h armrest X250 help please

- Since 2008 after caravanning for 20 years
Mine has some allens screws holding it to the seat. I had to tighten them up regularly till I used a bit of grunt to tighten them with a socket set, been alright since.
The silver pin across the armrest in photo 2 was bent and the retaining plastic a bit broken. (in fact so bent it fell out when i took the top off)
fix was to remove pin and straighten - then reinsert.
all working again.
moral - dont push the arm rest too far back

u dont need to take the arm off to get at the workings but if you need to get the silver pin out you will have to.
4 star screws underneath to get the top cover off.
