drive south or sale from portsmouth

well thank's folks mind made up ferry from dover to cales then just point south and drive gowing to take up to a week's to get to benadorm just a nice lesuarly trip for me and her-in-door's looking forward to the adventuar and forgetting recent events:Sad: but onward's and upward's south to the sun and maybe further:thumb:

For me Portsmouth to Le Havre then avoid the toll roads, plenty of very good roads with stunning views along the route, Use the Motor home for what its designed for, stopping at the French Aires and enjoy the drive through France.
Drive at at steady speed and keep the mpg down.
