Drinking vessels

real glass for us kept in a 2inch block of polystyrene holes cut for crystal tumblers, wine glasses also glass kept in one of this clip racks never broke one yet.

I prefer glass but I always break them not storing them but using them, either dropped while washing or accidentally pushed off worktops.

Real glass, we just buy the cheap packs from French supermarkets. Very rarely have a breakage despite us not packing them well.

Small Nutella jars also make good sturdy drinking vessels.

Really not a fan of plastic, if pushed, we do have a couple of packs of plastic disposables - mostly given to clumsy guests or when we might be a little worse for wear :rolleyes::p

IKEA is another source of cheap glass ware and crockery. :)

We have some good quality acyclic Swedish made ones we have had for over 20 years. Don't think glass would last a day on Belgium roads.:)

Hi.
Bourbon, strained through the cardboard box into a mug...no broken glass to worry about.(Loading at Liverpool docks one morning, mid 60's,box got....Dropped ?).One Christmas party, house full to bursting,Southern Comfort, drunk from a "Milk saucepan ?...Yes!!"
Pint pot with a handle for me.WHATEVER comes in it refreshment wise, but as you can see from the above,a rule not written in stone.
Tea Bag

we use both glass and acrylic, I have no preference. It is what is in the glass that is important.

We have poly-carb "glassware", rattles drive me insane!

We use acrylic cant be assed with all that messing about to store glass.
Also us rough ole foresters are not snobby enough to care, we're more interested whats inside the vessel :)
Also when we get p****d and fall over less chance of getting cut. :)

Proper glass and china, including brandy glasses. Have never broken a glass in transit, but a few in use.

Plastic plates and bowls because they fit in the washing up bowl and I can't be arsed wrapping them up in transit. Proper pint beer glass for me and a gin glass for the missus, and ceramic tea/coffee mugs.
