Dometic RM8 series fridge light/lock (1 Viewer)

Hi All

Anybody know of a cheaper option than buying a new one of these lights/locks.
Around £50 for a new one seems massively overpriced for what is 6 LED’s and a micro switch

Our pcb failed lights flashing and beeping it turned out to be condensation on the board i just lacquered the board that fixed it, but no good to you

Yes that’s what I thought too. Will have a look only first before sporting out £50

Update: So I purchased 5x micro switches and soldered one onto the light fitting.

Pleased to report that a £2.00 switch has saved me around £48 = Massive result

Hello, i seem to have the same issue as you, my Dometic fridge light has stopped working and of course you cannot buy the LED but the whole lock/latch which is over £50!

Could you point me in the direction of the micro swicth you purchased so i can give that a go before spending all that money.
