Dometic fridge quality! (1 Viewer)

We have a CDF-45 MDC -090K compressor fridge and have now suffered our second freeezer door frame fracture.
They cost about £40 a go and are the cheapest flimsiest piece of plastic. They even use metal washers with double sided tape to reinforce the hinges.
My question is has anyone had the same issue, or found someone who makes some more substantial?

There’s very little to fix anything to. It’s almost skeletal. We’re in Spain for another 6 weeks or more so very limited to what I can do apart from some plastic glue to fill the crack.

I was surprised when I saw Dometic and quality in the same sentence

I'm a bit if a heathen but I had a crack in my last vans fridge, I packed it with blue tack as I recall, I may also have covered it with duck tape, not sure but it stayed like that and seemed to be fine.
