dometic fridge not cooling

Our awning gets a little condensation on it from the fridge I reckon the fan I fitted does blast out the heat good for drying towels!

@Pausim, if you get a moment can you post a picture of the roof vent used to vent the FF? I had never notice that before on a compactline.
When I next visit I will try to remember to take a picture.

I never realised that we were lucky so to speak in having the FF on the nearside of the van. That's the opposite side to the hab door and awning. @Pausim, if you get a moment can you post a picture of the roof vent used to vent the FF? I had never notice that before on a compactline.
Picture as requested.

Lenny, I think you have the internal Fridge fan also?, Where did you fit the thermister for that, I was thinking ideally half way down the right hand side of the fridge, is some sort of white trunking to hide the wires.
Also setting the inkbird to turn on above 5/6 degrees, but I guess its trial and error to get the sweet spot, so the fans are not on all the time.
Thanks
LES
I put it on the back wall about half way down held on with Blue Tack but it needs moving as the controller reports the fridge is at 7 deg but I've had stuff starting to freeze by the door catch. I'm going to extend the wires and fit it under a shelf towards the front.
One big difference the internal fan makes is how much quicker the temperature returns to normal after opening the door.
Only downside is I reckon the fridge uses about 10% more gas, a small price to pay for cold beer.

From what I have seen the cooling is much better with a roof vent, downside is you have to take the fridge out to service it. Unless you have managed to clean the chimney just from the lower vent.

As an interim measure, remove the vent covers as this will improve air flow.

Agreed. It worked for us on the B640 and no fans required. The old E510 we have now has a huge chimney running up the rear wall to a high outlet. I might just find that I didn't need to buy this lovely compressor fridge...

Hi
I'm in a similar situation to the OP.
I have a tall Dometic fridge freezer in a 2019 Bailey Autograph. We are presently in Bonny Scotland being rattled by storm Francis. Outside temp about 13 degrees and a wind strong enough to blow cold air around the edges of the fridge/freezer into the vehicle.
All this week, we have had similar temps outside, and we are 240v most of the time. The fridge will not stay cold. Cream has gone off, and the ice cubes in the freezer go from ice to water on a regular basis.
Yes it works much better on gas! Well.... it actually works!
So am I doing something wrong? I have had the graduated dial turned from the thin end of the wedge shape to the middle, to the thick (which I have to assume means colder... stupid system) but nothing seems to make any difference.
It clearly can get very cold, but for most of the time, it's just completely inadequate for it's purpose.
Advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Martin

That's another thing you need to get sorted that is poor installation it should be room sealed and there should be no draughts.
As the cooling is intermittent on mains it's either got to be an intermittent connection or more likely a fault with the electronic control circuitry, probably not much you can do about it yourself. At least it's under warranty.

Thanks Lenny,
putting it on battery when we are driving doesn't seem to work either.
We've experimented with the temp setting too, and it makes no difference.
Looks like we are going to have to put it back on gas or everything is going to spoil.
And more seriously, the beer is not cold and the wine is not cold!

Disaster.
Definitely sounds like an electronic control problem, at least it works on gas & once down to temperature it will stay cold for hours if you keep the door closed.
