We had on our older Tech tower a convenient little catch that allowed you to hook open the fridge and freezer doors for airing. So far i haven’t found this feature on our newer 2way door unit (think it’s an RCD 10.5xt). Could be that I’m missing seeing it and it’s there, well hidden….. or that Dometic in their infinite wisdom have removed this useful little feature…

I think you just push the locking tab across when the door is open 🤔

Unless yours is a newer model with this little catch tucked away.

Our Dometic tall fridge/freezer has a little white bracket that pulls out from the door catch but it is very weak and broke 3 times after that gave up, if. Fridge not being used small piece of plastic and door stopper does fine.

Yep that’s it !

Quite difficult to get the catch out, unless you know for sure that’s what is is supposed to do then you’d think it wasn’t supposed to come out. Both of ours were well stuck in although after some silicone spray and a few goes on it, seems OK now.
