Doing your own van maintenance

I quite enjoy the work - it gets me off the computer, and the exercise does me some good.

I'm 77, and my body isn't knackered, but I'm working on it. :)

Well there is good news, and bad news. The good news is that the factor has changed all the parts I bought, even the oil. The bad news is that it cost me an extra £17, because I am using more expensive oil, and another couple of bits had higher prices.

The guy at the factors was very pleasant and helpful, and he explained how these problems can happen with ex-military vehicles, and he showed me the DVLA entry for my van. Now I need to get that changed. I've no hesitation in recommending the factors - They are PtoParts in Waterlooville. Now all I need to do is to change the filters. The fuel filter is the most important in my opinion.
