It’s one of the reasons we got a Motorhome. And this is the greeting after a few days away without them!

I'd like to get an idea on the percentage of motorhome Owners who are also dog owners and travel with them. Please take a second to tell us if you motorhome with a dog.
Yes, we've got two Springers and they go everywhere with us in the UK.

Answered No, love dogs, nearly always had one but too tying on travels and if we both are going out wildlife watching dogs are a big No. No. they will disturb them.

We would not go without our dog.
The dog is with us for part of our lives but all of his. Inevitably he would feel abandoned if left behind.

At considerable risk of offending others, I'm afraid we just don't get the dog worship thing. We only see negatives.

Yes, you're right - and then there's the dog hairs everywhere, the mess they bring in when it's raining and the cleaning involved, the inconvenience when you want to go out to an all-day Wedding or other event, trying to find someone trustworthy to look after them, the cost of poo bags, the cost of the extra mouth or mouths to feed especially in harder times, the annual boosters and occasional Rabies treatment and all the training required to make them reasonable when out amongst the general public and the loss of them through old age or illness.

Loads of negatives.

I can't understand why we've had dogs for over 75 years …..

yes for travelling with a dog, one of the reasons we have a motorhome specially in the days we had unlimited time in europe. always found countries like france much more accommodating when having a dog with us.

Dog always travels with me. He’s been to 17 countries, so far.

We don’t have a dog or cat at the moment. We’ve had several cats in the past and have met several cat owners in the past few years who take their cats along with them. I found it strange that they let the cats out on their own and trusted them to return but was advised that if the cats litter tray was left out under the van, the cat would know where to return to. I saw it obviously worked, but wouldn’t dare try it myself, if we still had a cat.

We have always travelled with our faithful companions, Buddy, Topsy (both now gone), and now Jack. All little Jack Russell terriers, great travellers, and wonderful company!

We always travel with our dog

Our cats never had a litter tray so that would not work for us..BUSBY,
