At least in the MH you can move on my neighbours have now got a totally uncontrollable German Sheppard it barks at everything and is just plain nasty I have made it clear that as it has for no reason snapped at me and is always growling and snapping at anyone /thing that is is near I would rather they kept it away from me as I am rather weary (bloody terrified) of it .

Yesterday when stood on the drive chatting she decided to bring the dog over to my drive trapped me between the dog and garage and thought it funny when I asked her to take the dog away 3 TIMES the last time very firmly before her and dog went in doors in a huff.

I think the behaviour is appalling, the dog is an animal and takes it leave from the owners she also takes it over the park and lets it off the lead when other peoples children are playing I have this horrible premonition that they will be one of these who say 'it has never attacked before' when its too late

You cannot legally walk 6 dogs in the UK.

Many owhers like that do not realise that for a complaint to be made the dog does not have to touch anyone. If you consider it is causing you fear & distress & it can be legitamately proved, that is enough to get a dog put down. Wrong really as the owner should also follow if it that happens

I use Pitchup - although I search for sites that allow dogs;) but you could do it in reverse I surpose

pitch up have a filter
Plenty of sites have a "no dog policy" not because of dogs being shitty little flea bags that drop their black waste whenever they want :roflmto: but because there may be livestock or the owers may be afraid etc. And of course to cater for those that DON'T like dogs
That's a bit harsh Tombola your making dogs sound like Itinerants 😂

Yeah yeah. It’s all well and good posting what the rules are. But who’s doing anything about it.

I think it’s against the rules to do bank jobs but people still are. (Or any other crime)

Wasnt me honest guv I like banks or more exactly whats in em I have full testomy available that I was at the other end of whichever country this occurred in.

A lot have horrible little yappy dogs that bark at everything and anything. No training so they build massive compounds around their vans, and don’t flinch when the “little darling” yaps none stop for all the neighbours to put up with. I can understand people wanting dog free sites.

Yes we have a dog, but I hope it doesn’t bother anyone, and will soon be put in his place if I think he is.
A lot have horrible little, and not so little constantly screaming kids who ride bikes at breakout speeds and kick footballs near other peoples vans, totally ignored by their parents who don't flinch when their little darlings are so obviously annoying to others. Perhaps they should have a compound around their vans. I can understand people wanting chips free sites.

You have my sympathy. We are fortunate with our neighbour who has 5 dogs. Taken out twice a day. On leads until into a field they use. We very, very rarely hear them bark. Just proves it can be done and don’t have to have threatening/barking/yapping dogs.

I assume you mean child free site, of which there are very many. Adult only sites are very common and from my experience have a high volume of dogs.

Certain Campsites in The New Forrest, down here south of Watford, dont allow dogs, because of the local wildlife, mainly Deer, Ponies & horses, some have cows grazing also, that roam the area freely and are great to see. there are even Donkeys walking the street in Brockenhurst at the water splash(y)
Check out Camping in The Forrest, you cant get better value IMHO, especially mid week, and you dont have to be a CCC member either.!
Take your bikes, and the world is your oyster.(y)
