2010?
Fiamma safe security door lock .
Fitted on purchase of new van from marquis, from start it began to peel, brought it to their attention but it was never sorted.
Now it looks eye sore and they say:
It only has 6 mth warrantee so basically tough?
Sooo, apparently they all go like this, or do they?

Update
Contacted fiamma customer services Italy, very nice email offering to sort it.
They said to ask dealer to forward complaint back to their supplier and for the supplier to contact fiamma and they will try n sort.
Marquis reply to me:
We have 3 suppliers so don’t know where we got yours from so sorry can’t help you any further 😳🤔

Worst ones are the Fiamma hab door locks the tubler bar that swings over the door.
Could never understand the logic in those.
Unless you also have the tube receiver lock on the door it's like fitting an inbuilt pry bar.

Then get back on to Fiamma Italy and tell them Marquis are refusing to help.

"Give me the details of the three suppliers and I'll pass them to Fiamma, AND STOP BEING SO BL**DY OBSTRUCTIVE"!!!

If you've got nothing better to do this would make an enjoyable excursion to the small claims Court.
Look up the phrase 'Letter before action' and compose a letter to the Marquis Head Office. If appropriate, point out to them how far your local County Court is from their office.
I would be surprised if they didn't roll over.

I know someone with one of those his van got broken into at City Europe. They stole a few CD's but did £3k of damage to the van pulling the mountings of the bar through the bodywork.
Yup.Have used the Fiamma/Milenco locks previously but seen how easily they can be over come and the damage done with a simple crowbar so not adding those this time.Sticking with a very loud alarm, minimal valuables and a few other solutions internally.

UPDATE
guess what’s just arrived in post ?
Yep, new free fiamma door lock which has been sorted for us free of charge by Stefano from Fiamma Italy.
He arranged for suppliers to post one out to us
Puts Marquis to shame really !

I’ve just fitted one and can see the same will eventually happen. Depending on the angle the van is parked, the gap between frame and door will very slightly differ and will catch the paint when closing/opening and will strip of. The primer can’t be up to much on them.
