Yes...
Assuming that is the most up to date VIN plate. The V5 will confirm what it's currently registered as.
And provided you keep within both the axle limits and within 3500kg total. Lots of vans are plated at 3500kg, but they've got an unrealisticly tiny payload capacity which makes them pretty much impractical to use legally. However, if that is a 2001 van, you're more likely to be ok... they were built lighter back then.

Sorry. You beat me to it and I did not see your reply before posting.Yes. 3500kg so car licence and can tow 2000kg. (5500 - 3500kg) the other two numbers are the maximum weights on the front and rear axles.
OP says "logbook" by which I would guess they mean V5 doesn't state a weight so looks like they will have to go with the latest plate. The V5 will confirm what it's currently registered as.

There will be a manufacturers limit on tow capacity. Maybe the base vehicle. Good question though.Just curious. If the van only weighs say 3000kg can it tow 2500kg?
Yes as long as the towbar specs are still sufficientJust curious. If the van only weighs say 3000kg can it tow 2500kg?
Many vehicles can tow heavier than they are. A Defender 90 weighs about 2000, but can legally tow 3500Just curious. If the van only weighs say 3000kg can it tow 2500kg?
As long as you still have B+E then 3500kg for tow car and same again for trailer caravan so should be fineSo, someone put me straight here please…
IF my C1 didn’t get renewed next year then clearly restricted to 3.5t. IF (heaven forbid) decided to go for a fifth wheel and pick up what weight restriction on standard licence??
Thanks in advance
Road tax was £345 PLGIs there not an entry for the line 'Revenue Weight'? If so that is based on Mx Permissble Mass and DVLA are too lazy to fill in both.
What VED (road tax) has been paid, as this is based on Revenue Weight, and therefore Max Permissible Mass?
No.it is not as simple as that. MTW varies according to vehicle weight.Just curious. If the van only weighs say 3000kg can it tow 2500kg?
As said as long as you have b+eSo, someone put me straight here please…

That means the revenue weight is less than 3500kg and it can be driven on a B licence.Road tax was £345 PLG
