Does anyone know what year Citroen, Fiat and Renault added Adblue to their 3.5T vans?

I have no idea. But one is guaranteed to cost you money the other is only likely to cost you money?

Just checked. New EGR valve and gasket etc £84?

I have looked for a reliable price to repair common adblue faults and they all seem to be in excess of £1,000 and sometime way higher.
Plus the cost of buying adblue as well.
I think you should research the twin EGR set up a little more thoroughly not the same as the earlier single EGR.

I've got a 17 plate Fiat 130. No Adblue, lane assist, etc.
People have mentioned EGR issues but I've done over 30k from new and not had any problems.

Does anyone know what year Citroen, Fiat and Renault added Adblue to their 3.5T vans?

I am starting to look for a van for my next conversion. I ideally want the last year where adblue was not a part of the vehicle.
It would be even better if I could go with one without a DPF but I suspect that would take me back too many years.
I don't want to go older than 2015 if at all possible. I usually like buying at the 8 year mark, but I suspect this will drag me into the adblue years?

Any other thoughts are welcome. Anything I should consider on the engine front?

It will be a Luton, so I am not to concerned about rust or chassis issues.

I will never buy a Mercedes or a Ford. VW is possible but I suspect too expensive for my budget.

Thanks.
hi gromett my nissan van 2015 no adblue the nissan 2016 is euro 6 think that has adblue which is reacking some engines but not all my nissan 2015 not even euro4 or euro 5 as road tax would be £ 140.00 year my nissan emisions 128g which road tax £ 345.00 year

Asfaik Best engine in Ducatos was the 3 litre, strong torquey chain drive cams, variation still used in todays Dailies.
The 2009 Arto I recently got is the 3l engine and the fiat master technician that I had out on November said it's a solid engine and almost never has EGR problems. I had him out to look at my EGR problem,!!! But on the phone before his visit he said it won't be the egr it will be a vacuum problem .After a smoke test several leaking vacuum pipes were replaced with braided ones. I also had a couple of leaves in the air intake pipe that on acceleration were being sucked up and blocking the mass airflow flow sensor causing the lose of power on hills, nobody else that looked at the van found this (egr was blaimed) . thought I'd mention it as egr is mentioned a lot.
Now half way down Spain and it drove brilliantly all the way down easily flying past lorries 😅 so I think it's a great engine too and no cam belts😅.
Cheers Cris 🍻.

My sons is identical on an 18 plate and still faultless after nearly 7 years 👍

Fiat were the last to go over to AdBlue when the new vehicle testing procedures were changed in September 2019. There was a period after that date when they were allowed to sell vehicles that had already been made, so there may well be some non AdBlue ones registered in 2020 or 2021.

My 2014 Peugeot is good on fuel, about 32mpg. OK for a coach built with motorcycle on the back 👌👍
