I think Tam just needs a break from it all on here. I’m sure all his friends are giving him direct support. Following him on polar steps he seems in good form and the dogs are generally just being themselves! Hopefully in time he will be back with a new thread, maybe on the joys of campsite wardening with 4 dogs.

Personally I find that if i have something negative/ hurtful to say, i try to keep it inside.

Yes I agree there’s people that clearly doesn’t like him, if someone who you don’t like starts a thread about his life would you really go on and contribute to it? I can’t understand it, why would you do it? Even contemplate posting on a thread with negative comments about someone’s life, even if you thought it privately.

It does fill the forum with endless "dogs on beach" pics. A canine response to Jumar2's thread of 'a mountain bike pic in another dusty olive grove'. Perhaps I'm just not discerning enough to appreciate the subtle nuances.

I've just taken a massive inhalation of oxygen as I write this. I'm nearly 50 years old and married late so I've lived a life! I was brought up hard with very little but with morals and respect. I still have the same best friends I had at school and more ( I'm lucky) . My large family are the same, happy outdoors type successful and content. With this and being a sporty bloke throughout my life I've always just cracked on. I'm a straight up northern bloke who would literally help anyone.....

So a man goes to Morocco and wants to share his experiences and opinions with others. Then he privately falls out with others doing the same. The threads then become personal and a bit nasty. (Everyone could see)
I personally think the sharing of the fallout wasn't called for and progressed to borderline bullying. I understand how other media was then introduced..but hey it could of been shut down or just ignored. The travel logs were better anyway.

If I was solo travelling in Morocco and the thread got near how it did with Tam, I'd feel insecure, overwhelmed and scared! (Would you then want to share with MF)
The world is a bitter place and even more so with keyboard warriors and trolls.

Every day I drop my son off to school and I say these words ' try your best, be kind and I love you'. Every time he says I love you more Dad. ( Not possible)
