Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

My mum had a metallic green Renault 18 many years ago, the bonnet needed painting, my brother delegated it to me (before he had a proper paint shop). He was painting speakers for B&W and the workshop was very dusty and the paint area not big enough for the car, so I painted it outside on a warm still evening. Base coat was perfect, got a lovely coat of lacquer on, just about finished and a huge moth crash landed in it and flapped it wings a few times to drag itself a few inches across my perfect painting 😂
My very first vw camper van I painted b&q fresco blue with a radiator roller lol .

It turned out not bad

I cannot imagine why having spent time sanding & filling as required before they apply the primer coats, they do not flatten off the primer, before applying the top coat. It would make the final finish so much flatter, with a better sheen.
I guess they don't use tack cloths either to remove any micro dust.
Concorde man will end up having to have the rear end done now, as its the only way it will match in colour.

PS: Mrs says can we have some more donkey photos,Please, she absolutely loves them!

I bet it smells like a laundry basket full of cheesy socks
Having driven Junior teams to surfing competitions in France and Portugal, I can state that the overwhelming smell is pissy wetsuits..
The customs official actually flinched when I opened the back doors after a long hot drive up from Hossegor and the smell hit her :)

It beggars belief what the concorde owner thought he quality he thought he was going to get! At least Tam parked up had a look at other jobs and considered the outcomes. He was getting a smaller amount of paintwork on a lower part of his van. It's bonkers really what the concorde man was getting done!
