Personably I'd just get a conventional 'baseball bat' steering lock.
Like any lock they can be cut off, if you have the right tools.
But the 'bat' design much easier to put on/take off and store in the vehicle than the 'disk' design.

I'd be looking to get down to VanBitz and fit a proper alarm, tracker and immobiliser.
Which will give you far greater security than any steering lock, (and reduce your insurance bill)
