Can anybody update me on the latest diesel prices in Kent please. We are coming back to blighty on Thursday on Eurotunnel after our Christmas break in Spain and wondering on which side of the channel we should fill up the tank.

Many thanks.

don't know about Kent but diesel at about £1.72 at the mo around me.

I paid £1.69 today in South East London which is the cheapest it has been for ages.

£1.68 in W Midlands

Just paid 160.9p in Tesco in Wilmslow tonight. There's a Tesco at the Dover end of the A2 at Whitefield. But that's priced at 173.9p. All the rest in the Dover area are the same within a penny or so.

Download the app petrol prices. You can choose the fuel and search on its own map.

Peter, unfortunately of no help to you, but, I paid £1.63 at the small independent in the next village this afternoon. How can they do it when the major mults are charging c£1.75

Same here. Local Murco over 10p per litre cheaper than profiteering supermarkets, even allowing for losing the Tesco points.

I use Petrolprices.com and the Esso garage near the tunnel is currently priced at 173.9 so probably cheaper in France at the moment.

Check https://www.petrolprices.com/ for latest information. It’s the most accurate info I’ve found! 👍
you can do the same for France at https://www.frenchduck.com/latest/f...l in,grades of fuel for fuel prices in France. It’s an official govt website.

£1.59 in Yeovil, Somerset. Seems to be local price matching

Filled my car up at Costco in Lakeside, West Thurrock this morning Petrol is £1.36 and Diesel £1.55 a Litre
You’re lucky if you have a Costco in striking distance. They only have 19 locations across the U.K.! Our nearest is 90 miles away… 😡

Please can someone explain to me why Diesel cost more than Petrol for Diesel take less to refine so it should be cheaper.

I can’t remember what the rate was but I filled my Burstner Elegance up yesterday. £135:80 and it wasn’t quite empty!

It isn’t the price in France that is relevant this week it is availability. Widespread strikes planned tomorrow and panic buying expected. It tends to be patchy depending on refinery supply areas.

Just come back from Santander Spain as you drop down to santander about 20 miles from the ferry there is a garage on the right with fuel the cheapest I found in Spain. So definitely Spain.

I think that Peter would be very likely to use all the tank of diesel if he filled up in Spain just getting to the Eurotunnel.

In Cheshire at our local Tesco it's 173.9, with petrol at 150.9.
In town its dearer still with deisel at 179.9.
It's rip off prices here as there is very little competition.
