Did You Up-Plate And Lose A Passenger?

Bump

Have we got an answer yet?

No, I'm waiting for an email from the dealer, once they've been in touch with Benimar. I'm intrigued as to what the email might say. I'll post as soon as I get it :)

It has probably been filed in the 'Too difficult tray'

The dealer was quite confident that Benimar could do it but they've been closed for the whole of August, only re-opening yesterday, so I guess it's just sat in a big pile somwhere :)

I think there must be some confusion with the dealers comments, in that he doesn't know the difference between Up & Down.
If you were down plating then yes, you may lose a passenger seat.
If you were up plating, then you may get all 4 belted seats back.
Its the only obvious answer, even dealers have bad days. :giggle: Bet he blames Google Translate.:giggle:
Good Luck with finding the answer.

As I said above, I'm sure they know exactly what we want as they asked if we had the right licence to drive it once it was done (which we do) :)

We have a Benimar, up plated by Marquis as part of the sale condition and we haven't lost a seat. The rear steadies weigh quite a bit so perhaps removing them and not having them on might help.

Thank you. Can I ask what weight you went up to, please?

It was just a paper exercise, nothing on the van had to be altered . It went from 3500 to 3700
