DFDS Over 60's discount

Hoping to use the newhaven - dieppe ferry in January rather than the shuttle. A couple of questions
How do you get the discount for pensioners?
Can you use Tesco vouchers.?
Thanks
When's the earliest you can book. Just checked and can't book a return in March 2025 as calander not available.
Phone 0330 587 8787 to book.
I think the new timetable comes out in October.

As per Lenny's advice Jim, taking you direct to the Dieppe Booking Office, who speak excellent english, and are very helpful. (y)
We booked in December 2023, for a Jan - March 2024 return, costing us £190 after the discount. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

A couple of additional nuggets of info:
1. The telephone booking office is only open normal business hours Monday to Friday
2. They are in France so there is a one hour time difference.
3. You can work out the cost by doing a trial booking on line then deducting 20% off everything except cabin & pet costs. (But beware pricing is dynamic so at peak booking times the price may have gone up by the Monday morning.)
4. You do not need a cabin. The crossing is 4 hours so not worth the pfaff. (OK maybe if you have a dog or something like that?)
5. The discount is available to "seniors" i.e those over 60 and not just pensioners.
6. Those like Lenny who live locally can book over the weekend at the terminal (And maybe stock up with provisions at the nearby Sainsbury's while they are at it. (By reputation in Lenny's case that would be mainly liquid refreshment!!))
