We have carried a defibrillator for around 8 years in our van, we don’t advertise it but would gladly help if anyone in the area needed it,
We are now looking to update it with a new one, there are some discounted deals through BHF £650 + Vat now I don’t mind the price but VAT on what I see on a piece of medical equipment is absolutely wrong, but if someone is classed as disabled and wanted one for personal use it can be vat exempt.
This is without the cost of replacement battery and pads @ £233+ vat- £70+vat
Seems wrong somehow ☹️

Mine is fast approaching obsolescence / end of battery and pads , and there are so many public ones about now don't think I will replace with new one in view of costs. VAT doesnt help either
