Decoration or stupidity?

Driving up the M5 today we were passed by a Bessacar moho sporting not one but two UK stickers on its rear end.
However the stickers were far from regulation being white letters on a Union Flag background??!!
Why waste money on such clearly illegal stickers?
Just decoration or plain waste of money stupid?
Is that the M5 that runs from Paris to Berlin? If so definitely wrong.

If it is the one that Runs from Exeter to the Midlands........does it matter?

I often see massive stickers of Red Indians on the back of Autotrails and I bet that the drivers are from the UK! and aren't Red Indjuns at all!

Hi.
There used to be an " OXO " sticker on the sides of buses......... But they didn't sell it/them........(. The old ones are the best...)..............
Tea Bag
And it used to say 'India' on the tyres but it didn't go there!

(I guess one has to be of a certain age to understand that now.)

It was the one that runs past your door Eddie!

Must have been the queue of customers to your workshop! :giggle:
Our GROWLER working perfectly (apart from me pushing the wrong button on the fob a few times ) so no need to revisit! (y)

Read this before I posted and it says nothing about black letters on a white background.
The rules are quite specific.

Annex 3 of the Vienna convention on Road Traffic gives the specific sizes.
defined in Annex 3 of the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic, which states that the letters shall be in black on a white background having the shape of an ellipse with the major axis horizontal.

& Annexe 4 gives the sizes;

Not really😀
However this must have been changed at some date as a GB on a number plate which has been used for years is totally different to what’s mentioned above. Just checking for a friend.

EU rules took precedence showing country identifier on plate ,except for the French who legally still required one if no country ID, Wheras
Now when Uk is 3rd country & needs one al the time.. If you look at the link for Geneva convention on road traffic 1949 it shows GB is no longer & UK is stated.
