Decal removal problem - help needed

Has anyone had to remove a decal from a van? I have an Autocruise Rythem and the decal on one side that gets the sun all day on my drive is in a bad way, and peeling off. I've removed a bit of it, but how do you get the glue off? I've got a feeling this could be very labour intensive! Any help greatly appreciated.

Probably none of them, it´s in the small print that you do this at your own risk .

If you remove a decal on an older van do you not run the risk that the decal will have protected the surface whilst the surrounding area will have weathered/faded thus making the area where the decal was more noticeable? I’m thinking mainly of PVCs.

Very much so, but better off than on sometimes, a good cut an polish can reduce the effect but it will be there
