I’ve looked just about everywhere on the dash but kind find the switch to turn off the DRL. Any suggestions as to where the switch might be hiding.

Thanks Derry.

Sorry to go against the flow here, but while I completely follow the logic and need for front DRL's, but rear ones? I can't speak for you guys and girls, but personally I never reverse in poor light for any distance at 30mph. A much better solution for pedestrians is an audible alert, and possible intense flashing light that you are reversing. We have rear fogs if visibility is that poor. - had to use mine yesterday in a sleet storm. I find that being sat behind someone in a queue with their foot on the brake pedal and therefore the high level stop light on is a PITA and I have good eyesight. Anyone with borderline eyesight will struggle even more. Indeed I have often wondered how easy it would be for manufacturers to link the reversing sensors such that when a vehicle pulls up behind you, the brake lights are dimmed.
Unfortunately on many EV's now, my Tesla included, you don't have to have your foot on the brake pedal for the brake lights to be on, the car puts them on for you. If I'm sitting in traffic, unless my car is in park, the brake lights are on when stationary, even without my foot on the brake pedal.

You will often see EV's seeming to brake for no reason and wonder why, but they aren't necessarily braking, just decelerating and the car puts the brake lights on due to the regen system working.

Only when regen is set high enough for it to actively brake the vehicle. Most EVs can be set to coast like an ICE, in which case the lights don't come on. Although most people like the "one foot driving" mode.

But that isn't the reason to want rears on.It is because of those who continue driving at night on front drl's that also have the dash lit up & so they are oblivious to the fact that they are driving happily along without any rear lights on

Yes the dazzle is intense but if you put on main beam for some reason it removes the 'dazzle 'effect completly. It is exactly the same when behind someone who has forgotten to turn off rear fog lights ,so making it extremely difficult due to the dazzle ,to see brake lights instantly.Main beam removes the 'dazzle' & allows brake lights to be seen instantly

A 2019 Ducato can either have DRL, or main lights (dipped or full). There's no off. They are a legal requirement.
That’s strange, they can be turned of on both Mrs W’s Mini Cooper and my LR Discover Sport.
