We’ve always tried to do 4-5 months over winter! This year we will have been in schengen area 160 days before our mad dash home in March 😊

Only bought in August, so managed 3 trips =8 nights . Plus 1 on the drive the day we bought it !
So hears hoping for change next year.

Oops, wrong glasses on ! All those were in Uk. Next year...............

I suppose I should not do the survey as our UK-reg MH is only in UK a max of 7 days most years and the rest of year in Schengen, so our response would skew any statistics.

Perhaps a poll on the number of days spent M'homing in the UK would be useful. We could see how the membership use their Campers. I think the majority would be spent abroad ??

about 30 or so days, coz some of us have to work:whistle:

we are weekend warriors, specialising in rapid pitching and then 72hrs of madness

This sounds like a trick question have I spent more than 90 days within the Schengen area yes.....always in the MoHo.....No

Zero days over there,
About 20-30 days in uk until this year
Now retired next year was intended to be 2 trips of 3 and 6 months over there but now totaly f , so swmbo can still go to work

Can’t vote due to COVID 19 . We were booked on the Ancona to Patras ferry for over a 100 day trip to Greece as have done in previous years, but Minoan lines refused to take anything other than freight. They would not refund fare so had to make a claim through card company and got it back that way. Also booked for 95 day trip to Portugal as have done for last 7 years but had to Cancel due to COVID. Only had 8 days in North East this year, so hope next year might be better even if we have to apply for a Visa for over 90 day trips. Hey ho how life can change.

After nine years motorhoming, I’m still waiting for SWMBO to agree to us taking the moho across the water 🙁 We have had some great times in the UK, although our longest holiday ever (a few weeks ago, in Wales) was 15 nights as she won’t be away from her horses for long, even though we pay for them to be well looked after.

I may be going on my own when I retire and this lot is over 😊

I am surprised how low the numbers are to 'I don't tour Europe' considering the posts like Streeto Boy's above.

Maybe those that don't did not bother to open because of the thread title.

I think you may be right , it does say “on average” in the title but maybe that doesn’t click so they don’t open it and see that’s it’s over three years.

Since 2016 when we first started, having never done anything like this fantastic lifestyle we have done two trips per year, each lasting about three months. Taking in Spain, Portugal, Italy + San Marino and Morocco all of which have been brill.

Went away in Feb 20 on route to Athens got locked down in Romania for 2 months, never made Athens. It was great, seriously it was and an experience we will always look back on with fond memories. Can't wait to get back on the road, but not until we have had the vaccination.

Take Care all who are on the road.
