I got a roaming bill from 3 a couple of years ago, argued that I hadn’t used what they said and the best I could get was a reduction of 50%, that and the daily charge is when I left three.

I’ve had this with 3 this time around. Before leaving the UK I reset my data usage on my phone so that I could check to see if I was getting close to the 12gb fair usage.

I received a message from them saying I’d used 80% of my fair usage (so 9.6gb) yet my phone only showed 6gb roaming use.

Not entirely sure which was telling the truth. Other than when my contract comes up for renewal I’ll be moving away from 3 for various other reasons, having been a customer of theirs for years.
