Dashcam hard wiring

dashcam.jpg mine was a pressie with hard wire kit. took about 30 minutes to tuck cable under rubber gasket down to fuse block. piggyback fuse adapter into 12v socket fuse and job done

Tried that but wasn’t happy that half the picture consisted of the dashboard in front of the camera so ended up with the cam located top right hand side of the windscreen - super picture and easy to hide the cable .

Had my 999M booked in today at Halfords, but a waste of time. The guy couldn’t do it saying he was only used to fitting the kit in cars and was baffled when he took a look at the dash. I’ve kept the kit and will have a go myself.

Been out on the road with this dashcam set up ... super picture and took less than 30 mins to cable it up.
