Dash Cams

Not desperately relevant to the OP question but why is the back of mirror useless in moho?
Not the back of the mirror, the mirror itself - there is no rear view in a motorhome. And it is relevant in so much as, if it can be wired up to use then you do not need to buy a new camera.

Thank you, think I got it now but not sure how the camera points back and reads speed limit signs.

Points back? It looks out through the windscreen, it's in the triangle on the screen in front of the rear view mirror (looking from inside the cab). Also works for AEB if the vehicle has it.

The cameras used by cyclists are all battery with usb charging. Eg Go Pro It would be possible to fix one to the mirror with a bit of ingenuity ( or a cable tie😜)
You can get a mirror mount for a gopro, a friend uses one for motor sport in the states.
This is the result, this was me driving his hot mazda hatch, on my second run, i had never driven the car before.

There were 40 competitors we had 6 runs each and I came 19th over-all, slightly annoyingly, after the competition the track was open for us to do free runs, so I took my better half around as a passenger, and I am sure that I did my best run, unfortunately the time clock wasn't working.
