All very good ideas but if you drink any liquid whilst driving you can be charged with not being in complete control of a vehicle, should you have an accident whilst drinking your drink you could be charged with dangerous driving.
Drink your drinks before setting off and if you want a drink on the journey stop safely and have one.

I read an article about a guy who was done for taking a drink from a water bottle when stationary in traffic - hand brake on, out of gear. When he went to court it was thrown out but he did have the grief of going before the bench.

We all see folks getting nicked for using phones - quite right too.
But what about the cops using their radios - do they every arrest themselves?

Its not illegal to use a two way radio whilst driving, although any misdemeanours may result in dangerous driving charges etc.

Thanks to this discussion on Fun and Jim’s photos, less than 24 hours later and I’m one happy camper!

I went for 4mm bolts, washer, spring washer and Nylock nut to stop them ever falling off.

That’s not technically correct, you are allowed to eat, drink or smoke whilst driving. However if you are distracted then the police can charge you with careless driving.

That's when the accident happened. I didn't see the run up to it, because I was in the bathroom that houses the wardrobe in which I store my clean gear ... Perhaps those automatics have some merit after all ...
