Eura Mobil xtura

My German is not up to the job but I Google translated the conclusion. TLDR they’re both good.

TEST CONCLUSION

Eura Mobil Xtura and Hymer ML-T are long-distance motorhomes in the best sense: a powerful all-wheel drive chassis easily meets driving sprinters and comfortable living space. At the same time, the vehicle dimensions still remain pleasantly manageable.

The last consequence of the real off-roader is missing here and there, but that will hardly disturb many campers. With all the technical and conceptual similarities, the character of the two vehicles is quite different. The ML-T gives the elegant design mobile with a shiny silver cabin and stylish interior, the Xtura in the sand-coloured look wants to be more robust natural bush.

Dreammobiles are ultimately both.

I'll soon know in a couple of days time when I go bashing around Donegal in mine and report back here how it all went, it's sitting patiently waiting for me🙂

I don't think that's the new Crossover in that review 🤔
Mine has tons more stuff than what's listed there
So on the Hymer the permanent AWD is an extra?
Good review I would choose the Hymer myself because the PUAL construction is tried and tested over many many years but both lovely vans.

What extras does your have that are not listed there?

When are you picking it up? It does look fantastic!
Some day next week, then I'll take it for a bit of a rumble I know loads of tracks & fields, rough grounds etc Donegal has plenty of that, I have my own wee bit of beach too and I might even have a spin around a disused quarry I know, I won't do anything wreckless, just a bit of fun to see what it can do 🙂
Here's some more pics of it

Mine has loads more than what's listed in that article for example ive got 2 x 11kg gaslow, heated leather seats, cab & habitation air conditioning, water purification system, SOG toilet venting system 4 x 80ah lithium batteries, 2 x 100 solar panels, with controller, shunt etc and a 2000w inverter to all plug outlets, smart TV, mifi hub, bbq point external shower, theres other stuff I cant remember lol plus theres stuff in the cab, heated screen, distance control, lane assist, speed sign & traffic light recognition automatic headlights & rain sensor wipers, digital 10" screen.... there's loads that aren't in that review...
But I agree both fantastic vans, Jane & Rogs is a beauty too, hopefully we'll meet up next year and have some off road adventure 😀

Why did you skimp so much on the extras! You only live once you know… 😁

I will be interested in both of your in depth opinions of these as they are the two I am looking at, whichever one it is I am sure you will all enjoy them immensely, they will allow you to get a bit further from the madding crowd to misquote Thomas Hardy, which as things are changing for motohomes will definitely be advantageous.
Enjoy 😊

No not yet
Currently still in Blighty fighting with Carthago & their representatives about this Malibu van & it's problems, and don't seem to be getting very far so I think it's going home to Ireland to live in one of my sheds & it'll sit there until the courts decide what is to be done but either way I'll be enjoying the new Hymer early next week 😁
What's wrong with the Malibu, I missed it?

Yes Rollingwheels I collected it last week and its currently in my shed,
Can't give much of an opinion yet as I only drove it home & parked it up but one good point is the Mrs absolutely loves it! 🤣 seems very solid and capable and its lovely to drive
Going to take it out to the Picos or Dolomites in a few weeks time and I'll know better then what it's like

😱 off roading in a £150k Moho - get melamine plates and plastic glasses
Long time former Landie owner here, now a Hymer MLT570.

It would be far more accurate to call them both 'Rough Roaders' rather than 'Off Roaders'

Having taken my MLT570 (2x2) down a few rough roads, its not just the melamine crockery you need, but cupboards filled with cushions or bubble wrap as the noise at the rear can be deafening!.

The new Euromobil Xtura looks like it would be a bit more capable of genuine off roading, as it's got the raised rear quarter behind the rear wheels. I've bottomed out my rear quarter, despite having it raised on air.

Every van I've ever had with air suspension was way noiser than standard, that wee Malibu I have has air suspension and its far more noisey than standard suspension vans
